We are grateful for any donations. We regularly need:
- Fresh fruit
- Fresh vegetables
- Canned food of all kinds
- Spreads of all kinds
- Cereal of all kinds
- Pasta
- Rice
- Tea
- Coffee
- Hot Chocolate
- Cleaning products
- Hygiene Products
Food can be dropped off when St Luke’s office is open, on a Sunday morning, or during the drop-ins below.
Non-perishable food can also be dropped of to St Luke’s between 8am and 10am on Fridays. Please place your donation on the front steps of the church.
You can also donate direct into our bank account, Parish of Waikanae, ANZ, 01 0731 0019880 03. Please put ‘foodbank’ in the reference. If you would like a donation tax receipt, please also email parishmanager@anglican.co.nz.

Weekly Drop-ins
Every Friday we stock and open a simple free food shop at St Luke’s church in Waikanae. We welcome everyone, every week and share what we have with whoever comes.
Come along to St Luke’s, Elizabeth Street, Waikanae, 10:15-11:15am on Fridays and shop for a share of our groceries for free.
If you are unwell, isolating or vulnerable you can request a delivery.

Friday Food Share is the Kāpiti winner of the Health & Wellbeing award in the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards 2022.
Each week at LIFE on Wednesday, our after school drop-in, we serve tummy-filling afternoon tea and offer free school lunch food and frozen meals to any family in need.
Come along to St Luke’s between 3:00pm and 4:30pm on Wednesdays during term time.
